Today I’m thinking about what we can learn about marketing campaigns from walking a dog. Come share your thoughts - http://bit.ly/hYLIj

I can totally see where you're coming from. Every day on Hampstead Heath in London there are a lot of people who walk their dogs - I would imagine this is the same in any city where there's a small bit of open space - and I often wonder why nobody from a dog food company has thought of going there on a Saturday morning and handing out samples of new food.

You can see exactly what the dog thinks of there treat there and then (that's your market research) and it helps make the brand that little bit more personal to the dog owners, and i'msure Fido won't mind a nice snack in the middle of his walk either!
