Shortly after the conclusion of SXSW, Dave Delaney (@davedelaney) of Griffin was nice enough to send me the AirCurve after I geeked out over it when I first saw it. The AirCurve is an acoustic amplifier for the iPhone. Using the iPhone’s built-in speaker along with the “wavecurve”, the AirCurve amplifies the sound to approximately 10 decibels. It does this all without wires which is why I really geeked out when I saw it. I have been using it a ton and loving every minute of it.
