Anyone that has spent any amount of time around Laura or I over the past 14 months knows that we had been feverishly preparing for our wedding.  Being that we are both just a tiny bit crazy when it comes to detail and organization, we agonized over every single detail of the wedding to make sure that our special day, Saturday, June 6th, would be absolutely perfect.

Well, last Saturday, after hundreds of hours of planning, the big day finally arrived.  It was the best day of my life.  Laura looked absolutely breath-taking.  She was simply stunning.  Everyone else looked great too!  Every aspect of our wedding went perfectly and we loved every minute of it.  Though tired by the end of the night, we didn’t want it to end.

Following us along that day were our fabulous photographers, Erik and Victoria Souza (remember how great our engagement photos were!).  There were also tons of people taking pictures, videos, and tweeting (thanks @repcor@ellieeille @mathurrell @alexa @gregcangialosi @bostonmike and @nicksaber) going on.  As the next few days and weeks roll on I will be posting tons of pictures to my Facebook and Flickr accounts as we get more pictures from our photographers, friends and family.

Earlier today I got the word from Erik that the first batch of “teaser photos” were ready for us.  So, what was the first thing I thought to do?  Share them with all of you, of course

A lot of people wanted to know what our wedding song was.  It was “Until the End of Time” by Justin Timberlake.  We chose this song because it is what I had playing in the background when I proposed to Laura on Friday, March 28th, 2008.  If you’ve never heard the song, you can check out the YouTube video here.

Also, I received A LOT of questions about whether I would tweet the wedding.  Well, if you didn’t check out #levywedding yet, head over there for some more pics and reactions from everyone.  Just as proof, here are two last photos for you

At my steakhouse it can take us months of working on a menu before we are willing to release it into the wild.  It takes a lot of thought to design something that you feel will appeal to everyone that comes to your restaurant, or in this case, to my wedding.  But, being a 10 year veteran of restaurants, I wanted to design a menu that would be different than any other wedding menu I had ever seen before.  Previously I used to own a DJ company so I became very familiar with typical wedding menus as I’m sure any of you who has been to a wedding before has experienced.

Well, our menu is completed and as I do with many aspects of my life, I wanted to share it with you.  I want your feedback, your opinions, and hopefully, I want to make you hungry

Last week Laura and I met up with our wedding photographers, Erik and Victoria Souza, in Boston for our engagement session.  Last night I received an email from Victoria telling me that a few of the photos had been posted to her photography blog.  Laura and I quickly rushed over to the site and then sat there in awe for the next 30 minutes or so looking at the photos over and over again.

It never ceases to amaze me what emotion a nice photo can capture.  It is part of the reason that I have become more and more increasingly interested in photography over the past year or so.  It’s also the reason why that immediately following the wedding I’ll be buying my first DSLR.

There are so many aspects of wedding planning that are stressful.  But, this was one of the best days we had.  Not only was it fun hanging out with Erik and Victoria but it was also a few moments that Laura and I were able to spend together that wasn’t focused around the wedding, work or something else going on in our crazy lives.  I wanted to share some of these photos with you.
