About Me.

I most recently led social and influencer marketing, as well as private communities for Demandbase. Previously, I led social marketing at ServiceNow, global social media for Citrix, and launched a social media agency that worked with Fortune 500 brands. Additionally, over my 15+ year career, I have consulted with marketing and PR agencies as well as brands across an array of industries.

While growing our client base at the social media agency that Chris Brogan and I launched, I became a partner in an Argentinean steakhouse, helping one of my closest friends use social media to grow the restaurant by at least 20% in sales for 30+ months straight. During that time I founded a food and cooking blog that shared our experiences and invited friends to write as we explored our passion for cooking, including recipes, and tips. Because of this success, we were featured in multiple business and marketing books as well as being profiled by some of the most successful marketing blogs in the world.

When not focused on work I am deeply passionate about health and fitness, love spending time with my wife, our cat, and traveling.

When I was in grade school my teachers would always make notes on my report card saying that I talked too much. I have been able to channel that into a passion for public speaking on social media, influencer marketing, and private communities.  Through my speaking, writing and other opportunities, I have been interviewed by mainstream media sources including FOX Business, Associated Press, Inc. Magazine, and the Boston Globe.

I am the author of the second edition and co-author of the third edition Facebook Marketing.
